Q: What's causing boredom?

1.The most non-amusing cookery shows, anti-Platypus cartoons, non-sense Savings and Investments ads, Repeated Aadithya comedies, boring Ramdev stories, happy-ending soaps, songs with swearing lyrics, non-3D movies, ETC.

Walking! I left that out!

2. Your area being empty and finding no one to play with.

3. Heat that evaporates your creativity (don't ask me how)

4. Sudden rains that cause unexpected guests to sneak inside the house and play badminton with it everyday.

5. Checking your blog and you think of a post, but magically just makes your hand to stop just after writing the post title.

Duh!! What now?!?!?

6. Checking Facebook every fifteen minutes to find out you've got any notifications.

7. IIT classes that give you five days holidays but deadline to complete the twenty three assignments in those days.

8. Hands feeling itchy because you haven't pinched your grandma's ears for a few days.

9. Pradeep's and R.D.Sharma that cause you to swap the book after every five-step sums.

10. Parents giving you the responsibility to clean the room and you end up messing it more or sneezing for the rest of the day (it's me)

11. Calling the school or talking to friends to find out when the date of results would be

12. When you're given a mango to eat when you tummy is just full.

13. And when you're not given anything to eat or when nothing's in the fridge to eat when hungry and THEY ask you to go to the shop and then buy something.

14. You wish to develop artistic mind and like to paint something and you just get frustrated even if it is an abstract image and just leave the place messy.

15. Read books which put you off to a nice little cute nap.

16. Your sibling is quite busy with the TV when you are bored without fighting with him/her.

17. Parents not allowing to go outside for you had fallen down and had your hand wrapped with concrete-like substance.

18. When it's your friend's birthday at the time of may and you are not in town to attend his party (or rather 'treat')

19. Eating idlis and dosas everyday.

20. IT IS SUMMER!!! THAT'S HOW IT WILL BE!!! phew!

After wonderful moments of enjoying, eating, swimming, sleep-overs, dhabba-ing, attending mokkai lecture classes and many with your cousins, it's a bad time when you're leaving them.. Life becomes boring without a company..

I wonder if I have a monkey with me for a company.. but you know how children get humiliated when parents know this..

And then I spare some time to do all kinds of idiotic designing the blog (how's it? comment please) and some time fixing my 1997 speakers.

And this lovely lady! Oh! Sweet girl!!! Love her voice. Been a great fan of her since um.. 2008, I suppose? Anyways, I have been addicted to 'Aromale' and 'Chali Chaliga' so many times so that I start humming these songs silently in the bathroom (I haven't been a bathroom singer) and all the times when I check fb.

I advise you, never to get this BSNL landline! I have been complaining so many times and this is how the conversation goes..

Him (in a voice of a husband being woken up by his wife at late night): BSNL, here.

Me: Is it BSNL?

Him: (therinjikitte kekarana?) Yes sir, What do you want?

Me: I have complained so many times to you that my landline isn't proper.

Him: What's your number sir?

Me: (*facepalm*, Why didn't i realise that i was supposed to tell this first?) 2-4-3-3-1-6-8-9

Him: Now tell your problem sir

Me: Um.. just that you haven't taken any action till now for my landline. I have complained so many times before that there is some cross-line problem.

Him: I will check it sir

Me: I want it to be done soon. I don't want to hear anymore 'naan idli suttutaen. nee vad pottu vaa' or 'ava pakkathu veetu paiyanoda odi poitaan' and all kinds of stuffs that I keep hearing in my landline.

Him: (ivan kekavae mattanaa?) Sure sir.. We'll get this done soon.

Yawns. And finally decides to stoop writing because heat has evaporated his creativity. (check out the option number 3! wait, wait .. did I have it?)

To start with…

This is my home. OUR HOME; on the homeland of God! It has been two years since I met my grandparents. My grandmother is just too cute. I just grab her cheek and pinch it till it hurts her and asks me to stop it. She gives me a warm kiss as a greeting to our home. My grandpa is taller me. It’s his genes that I inherit. When anyone asks me what my goal is, I just reply that I have no idea or just say that I want to become as tall as my grandpa. I was boasting about my height when I was in seventh or eighth (I don’t remember properly…) as I exceeded my grandma’s height. My grandpa was a doctor. My grandma was a Malayalam teacher in a corporation school. She retired a few years back. The boat, the river, the coconut trees that bade good bye with their leaves as I leave this place and go to Chennai, the air of divinity and the liveliness of the place that lightens up a human’s mind and soul…. It was all in THEKKADY!!!

It took me a few seconds to realize that I was at my apartment in Chennai. My dad was paying the auto driver and I got down with the luggage.

The house was perfectly alright. No mess and everything were very clean… except for the floor of course! My mom had already cleaned everything before we went to Thekkady. And strange thing was that we had heard that there wasn’t any theft this time at any of our neighboring houses.

Less time for school means more tension. And more joy by the way... I have to get a new bottle, new uniforms that we gave for tailoring purposes, and many more.

June 18

It is the first day of school. Well, I just knew tenth classes were on the third floor, so just guessing our classroom would also be there too, I just went up and saw almost all my friends over there. I was happy.

That class seemed to be where my classmates are seated. And that is X D!

So I just squatted there and commented on the changes that I observed in their physical appearance (oh my god! Look at you! You’ve grown so tall! … Oh! Your voice has been broken! … Um.. You are just the way you were…).

And so suddenly a teacher asks us to just come out to the corridor… and she says.. we are going to be shuffled…..

'Oh!’

‘My God!’

‘Shit!’

‘Oh my god Shit!’ , came out the voices.

I was in a dilemma on how to respond : to cry or to just shut my mouth up and be patient. I chose the second one… and if I had left the choice to you.. you would have chosen that for me too.

The teacher called out the names in each class. I saw my friends moving to different classes. My name was listed in X C.

I just knew four people: S.Srinivas, Nithesh, Vishal Deva and Shankaran.

I waited... we all four were looking at others as if the other students in our class were cannibals and we were their sumptuous target…

Our class teacher was Bhavana ma’am and she was our mathematics teacher. She was by-ENLARGE a good teacher: I heard so…

And then she was dictating the time table.. all this time… I was silent.

Then she left and came in Giridhar sir, who is our chemistry teacher. I always love his teaching and his way of keeping up humour and sarcasm throughout the class. No one can be his pet. He just loves us as being students in a way that everybody is equally treated. Well, he didn’t start anything on the first day, but we all had a good time answering his questions about our interest in chemistry.

When he left, we saw Prabhu sir getting in. I never had his class before but I just knew that he was our history teacher. He just didn’t like any of introductions and started of reading the text book. It was hard to put everything in my mind whatever he said in class.

The next period in the time table pointed out to be Biology class. Satyabama ma’am is definitely an excellent teacher, and I inferred that from her first class. Just that she was always on a serious mood, I felt. I difn’t know much about her either.

I became hungry. But there were no chances of escaping English period. Geetha Sugumar ma'am was our English teacher. She resembled a reptile from which they say birds developed wings. Another hint: those species are extinct. For the first time, I realized it was very true. She was sweet, though than any other teacher.

Now, that it is lunch break, there was one question that was popping up in our minds: can we go to other class to eat lunch? We thought of nothing later, and just bravely decided to go to X A where most our ex-IX D students belonged too. It was certainly happy to hear that everybody had the same feeling that I had when we heard the news about shuffling.

After the burp and the bell, we had to go back to our class and dig out our time tables to find out the period. It was math. Bhavana ma’am is the best math teacher I’ve ever seen! Trigonometry! That’s the chapter we started with, and I loved her way of teaching! And one thing that still keeps me happy is the praise I got from her for choosing an easier way of solving a problem. She said ‘Good’ with my name twice, but that rang inside my mind for two days. You know, the feeling that you might have felt if somebody sees you for the first time, praises you! My mom always used to say ‘First impression is the best impression’. I realized it.

The sixth period was geography. Mridula Mahesh ma’am was just a normal teacher. A normal teacher means a normal teacher. And why she is like that is because she is normal. And so she is normal. And since she is a teacher, she is a normal teacher: HER INFLUENCE MADE ME WRITE LIKE THIS. So you must be knowing about her now…

The seventh was physics with Hemamalini ma’am. I don’t want to talk about it. I had a clear Idea of physics, but she ruined it. Duh!

The eight one was Physical Training. Logabhushan sir was absent that day, so ‘Poduma Susi’ ma’am gave us permission just to play basketball. Finally we pleaded her to give us volley ball too.

The last four classes are boring. That’s all I could say…

The last class: Generally, many ask me, ‘Why did you take tamil?’. I’m a tamzhan. I speak tamil at home. My relatives live in Thekkady, that’s it! But we speak tamil only.

And so this period was tamil. Rani ma’am was our teacher for many years, so she knows about me and my studies and she left us free. Without bothering about her so much, I started to talk with my friends.

Wait a minute...ALL HAPPENED IN ONE DAY??? Was it too slow?

Well, the rest of the days are totally opposite to it. My class, I realized was too cool and lovely! I also became a bigger chatterbox this time… I came to know about rumours of many people and I also became a master ( :P )of ICING many teachers. I learnt to mimic like teachers and also to be happy a lot.

DID TENTH GO SO SOON????????

There is this one thing: Everytime, I used to get a good name in the first PTAM, then in the final meeting, all the teachers would go off disappointed and give me a good titile of being TALKATIVE

But this time… it was:

The Terrible Thursday

I came to the main entrance of my house. My van already stood there. It came earlier by 2 minutes. ~~My van driver was inside the van on the driver seat.~~ I came inside to see Avantika, Vaibhav, Meghna and Krishanth(2nd standard) sitting there. Uncle did not come out to open the car diky :P. Then I knew that we had to keep our bags on our lap. I just silently went inside and closed the door and squatted on the back seat.

It was absurd. It was silent. So, it was absurd. Badri wasn't there. I felt I should talk to someone. I couldn't.

I missed talking to Badri everyday what happened in the van or what are the things that we are supposed to bring to school on that day. I felt loneliness like never before in tenth. I found it strange to keep my mouth shut. I couldn't talk either to anyone over there.

7.59 am
We would be in Srinagar colony this time. We went past Balaji's house. I couldn't just stop seeing his house. I felt he would come down to see us. I felt he could at least be in his balcony waving his hand, but I don't know where his balcony is. Even at the turning, I was looking at his house. After it passed my eyes, I felt strange.

8.23 am

Time to get down at school.

While walking near the pump, Badri used to tell me what his first period is. All I remember is that he has Geeta Kumari ma'am's period on Wednesday and no Ganga ma'am's classes on Tuesday. He used to tell me what all Ganga ma'am taught him and I used to compare her with my teacher and say 'She hasn't TAUGHT us' . I think Monday first period is Physics.

We'll be on the parents waiting area where Badri and Balaji will try not to catch attention of PT sir when sometimes they fail to wear their ID cards. Balaji is kinda sincere, so he wears it almost everyday, whereas Badri would sincerity is not to wear his ID card and his belt, not to forget that.

At the reception: We'll all try not to look into the reception for 'you know what' reasons. But sometimes we fail to keep up that and that day would be the most so called 'UNLUCKIEST' day.

Up the stairs we could hardly feel that we are walking because we would be talking and laughing. On the third floor, I used to say 'bye' to them and go to class..

Everything was lost...

8.24 am

I'll put my bag on my desk and sometimes leave to A section or sometimes chat with my classmates. Today when I went, I saw just five girls and just a few boys. However, my friends were there : Arjun , Vrajaraj, Tarun, Anshul, Deepak, KK, Arvindh, Sai Eashwar, B.Sri, and Sai Gopal (I think that's it. If I have missed your name I apologize). Finally just sat there and spent the next six minutes there

8.30 am

The prayer started. I went to my class. I missed the fun when we laughed at Shankar singing the prayer song. Even Shankar wasn't there. I don't know why, I just felt Shankar was there. We could make fun of him and he will say something idiotic and we'll just laugh like horses oops. 'Tamil class would be boring without him' I thought.

Not to comment about the free periods I have, I would like move on to what to what had happened in lunch.

11.32 amGirija ma'am was leaving the room and I came in. There weren't many people. It was strange. But we had fun. WE HAD TARUN'S LUNCH.

3.34 pm

We were waiting there till uncle came after five minutes. I left alone once again. Vaibhav was talking to Madhukar(his classmate who came to his van that day) and I missed Balaji and Badri like HELL!! I know almost everything happening in X A and X C all because of them. We love gossiping. Or rather I like gossiping. We'll share what's all happening in our classes and laugh or comment on it.

My eyes were just on the roads and on the traffic that afternoon. I closed my eyes to take a deep breath.

4.05 pm

I walked home restlessly and re winded my memories.

OUR MIND IS FASTEST THING ON EARTH. IT BEATS LIGHT'S SPEED AND EINSTEIN'S THEORY.

OK! No Problem.... It's OK... I'll Speak... I'll try...Huh... Speechless... Hey! Whats wrong with you?... No No... 'Ayo inda koshu-a thorathungappa!'

I never knew days and excursions could be so worse...

Certain times, you know, it would sound awkward if you keep thinking that I am not your friend just because I am not in your room. That's never going to split us. But if you keep thinking ditch, pizzas can never be tasty.

I am your friend and always will be

The whole point is, that most of us don't understand is that all our money aren't wasted if we buy a pizza (ate pizza today, and so I am obsessed with it). Even if your dog had licked the pizza, be gracious to give the pizza to dog. And you will be left with the cardboard box. You had paid for it. So, if your dog says no to it, don't worry. Our tummies are designed to take any organic matter (except urea and other stuffs) and digest them which includes paper.

And so am I. ~~The pizza is me. Any dog can lick me. I meant I love dogs.~~ The cardboard is my friendship. I love you every time and always be your friend. Even if the box is eaten, I am in your blood. ~~Eppudi? Mass!~~

So you are still friends with me and you can come to my room anytime. Rooms are just for sleeping.

So I am not far way from you...

Oh! Is it New Year!!! Then, I resolve...

It's New Year time and I can smell the celebration in the air. I just have this idiotic idea of staying awake till twelve of midnight or morning, whatever you name, because I feel that would make the year somehow interesting. Well, I still love it. Phone calls and wishes light up the year with overflowing happiness which can be clearly seen in my face.

Well, isn't it the time to make resolutions? Well, I do have loads of resolutions and I would like to share some to you. But before, I would request, kindly finish of all your work and then sit to read this.

1. I have this bad practice of sleeping late at night everytime and getting up late. So, for most of the time, I end up sleeping in van . Though, I like this, I badly want to change. I would like to show the alarm clock some respect.

Mr Alarm,

You are so good. Every time I hit you on your head, you never hit me back and still you try to wake me up. Your hands are more precious than mine. I owe you!

So I pledge to get up early in the morning.

2. On getting up early, I would like to practice silence by meditation. I love my life : stress free. I hate when I get stressed up. And so I love sleeping. I always get good sleeps and maybe some times bad dreams(you don't care about that). On the whole I feel meditation would help me improve my memory power(I desperately want to increase my marks in history) and my concentration power (in chemistry).

So I pledge to devote at least ten minutes for meditation.

3. For people who think I am lean, just one note. My weight is 63 kilos and my waist is 73.5 cm. I badly want to reduce my tummy. So, I want to exercise. Yogas would help me have a good immune system and I hope pranayamas could help me get away from my sneezing problems. I just hope. Hoping my hopes come true...

So I pledge to do yogas and importantly pranayamas everyday whenever I have time.

4. I pledge to wait for my school van, and not the other way round.

Scoldings aren't new for me. But I feel ashamed sometimes to be late. I hardly be late, but still, I feel I shouldn't any time.

5. I get caught in school many times just for not bringing my things. I never submit my notes or assignments on time though I would have finished it. I always get them the next day. So, I have a remainder pad to note these things down, but the problem is I forget to write them in the pad! I would like to keep the pad with me every time and note things down.

So I pledge to use remainder pads always.

6. I have a ~~terrible~~ kinda bad hand writing. I would like to improve on it. But I have no idea on how to improve. My math note is one of my worst productions. Thank God, math note will never be checked. And for people who like to open my rough note I would give them a warning.

So, I pledge to improve my handwriting.

8. I love to sleep in history classes. And so I get bad grades in history. ~~I hate history~~. It is so boring that I sleep everytime in class. And second is physics. Oh my God!!! Physics classes are too boring to put me to sleep. And not to forget chemistry. I loved organic chemistry but the 'Acids and Bases' chapter literally made me lie on the desk.

So I pledge myself to act like being awake in classes (I just can't be awake, so I act)

9. I am poor in calculations. I lose marks just in silly calculations.
I once wrote square root of 9 as +/- 9!!!

I hate these surface area, volumes, areas chapters in maths ans they involve a lot of calculations. So I want to improve quick and accurate calculation skills as swiftly as I can. To improve, I would go with Vedic Maths.

So, I pledge to learn and do vedic maths well.

10. I hate time schedules. Planning them is obviously a waste of time. I don't follow them at all! So rather, I plan my time in mind and prioritize my work and stick up to the dead lines rather than putting up a time chart.

So, I pledge to manage time sensibly and not to put plans and ruin my life.

11. My mom scolds me for spending hours on chatting. But I love to chat. You talk more about things in chat than in person. Do not think I am doing this to annoy my mom. And another thing is facebook. She keeps telling me not to waste time in it. Well, I realized fb has become too boring now-a-days. I just go check notifications, like statuses, check out my friends photos!

So I pledge to not to stop chatting and use facebook without frustrating my mom.

12. I pledge to concentrate equally on my IIT coaching.

For the past few months, I have not been taking IIT seriously. Well, this time, I resolve not to do so. And that too with the IIT coaching in eleventh. I resolve to practice more sums and to be interested in learning things.

13. I clean my wardrobe like once in six months and I end up wearing the same dress many times at home because I hardly see what other clothes under these clothes.

So, I pledge to keep my cupboard clean.

14. FINALLY I PLEDGE TO FOLLOW THESE RESOLUTIONS !!!

The most horrid things one could experience…

had to fall and lose it all. In the end, it doesn't even matter.

I woke up with Sanju's alarm in his phone. He wasn't there. I told him several times to change the music, but he preferred linkin park the most.

I checked the bathroom and he wasn't there either. Probably he would have gone for a jog along the hostel ground. I didn't mind that, and just went inside to take bath.

Well after that, I did see him on the bed untying his shoe lace.

'Hey, Mr. Perfect! Whattabout ur tie man?'

'Ah? Dude, I seriously don't understand why the heck you are jogging knowing that we have a campus interview. We are already going late and I asked you to keep the alarm an hour early and look what you have done. I just didn't mind you where there are not, I, well was busy.'

'Chill dude, you aren't gonna lose your life just not having passing this interview, eh?'

'Hey, come on! Just wake up! Didn't you realize that this the best company in United States? And if you were working in the company, you would become a millionaire soon!'

'Who cares?'

'What do you mean by who cares?'

'Just live the life you've got. Be happy and enjoy to the core. That's the way to enjoy things around you!'

I smirked at him and just minded my work. I have just an hour left with many works that include eating and walking to the college for forty five minutes.

'I'm so sorry, I just can't come. I have this interview to attend, you know how important it is right?'

'K, fine I do, but this is a life matter. If you aren't coming with me, then whom shall I go with to the hospital that is like seventeen kilometers away?'

'I do feel very sorry for your mother, but Sanju, understand. This is not a situation where I can come. My whole ambition from the first year was to join this company and to be settled in US. I just can't leave this opportunity. I have been crying for this everyday to God, and this is holy time where the God has gifted me with things I loved. Though your demands are fully reasonable, I just can't. I love you and your mother. Not that I act so. I do. I do it more than my step father. I thrive with your mother's blessing when she gave me for carrying your sister out of the house when your house was in ruins. I never say I forgot the things that happened like the one I just told at the time of earthquake. I would like to save your mother from another disaster she is suffering now, but I couldn't. I just can't.'

'Is that your ultimate answer?'

'I regret.'

There was a pause for a minute and we were looking at each other's faces till he realized there was something for him to speak apart from whining.

'I regret too. It made sense when I called you to my mom and said for the first time that you were my friend at the first month of the first year. I regret. What made me say you were my friend at that time? Was it natural or forced to be done so? I regret. What made you say you got my mother's blessing? You think blessing is something you get whenever you want? Or is it that I was a fool? I regret more.'

'Don't make me cry'

'Don't make me cry more'

'Oh no, just stop saying you regret. Am I the only person found in this universe?'

'You are the only person to help'

'I can't do anything but just to drop you there'

'You are the only person to help me reach there'

'Well, a bus driver or a taxi man could do that'

'You are the only person to help me reach there quickly.'

'I may drive fast. It doesn't mean that I could drive on the roads of Delhi and at this peak time of traffic!'

'You are the only person to help me reach there quickly to see my mother.'

I can't, I just can't. I had to tell

'Nothing changes in my mind now and will never'

'I guess that's the answer'

'Good guess'

He just called a taxi and got into it without saying where he is supposed to go to, to the taxi man and just did not even see me. He was crying silently to himself and looked at his feet. He never turned and looked at me. I did not realize that would be the last time I would see him. I heard a car crash and so I turned back to look at the most horrible sight ever seen by any one in their life…

I forced myself to sleep on the following night

The next morning I felt something unusual. I could feel the weight of a hand on my shoulder. I turned back to see...

I had no words to speak

'What? I'm so sorry, I put my hand by mistake, Ok?' said Sanju.

Hello, welcome you and me back. I have totally left my keyboard away from my mind and to open this site. Well, I did open sometimes... for updating the design of blog or just rather doing some jobless stuffs to make my blog look some what pleasant to look at. Well, I may not be knowing how much it is true, well, all I can say is that I took many hours to do these stuffs. So, I do need your comments on this.

Well, this blog is just meant for me viewing isn't it? I have TOTALLY lost audiences. This doesn't mean that I am forcing you to have look at my blog every time, ( I do certainly understand that this blog is definitely boring, well according to you...), just leave comments on whatever you wish me to improve on. Well, that could be the biggest help any one can render.

Hm... To talk about I would say I got selected for a 'pharmaceutical quiz by TN branch'. I can't, or perhaps shouldn't, tell it proudly, as it was the BIGGEST FLUKE eva!!! Myself, and 2 of mafrndz, Vishal and Sameeksha were the groups for this quiz. We did not even answer a single passed question! All the Qs we got were SO EASY!!! And when they said we got the first place, we all were stunned! Obviously, as it shouldn't have been for us. So, I thank the opponent teams for ... just thanks. We are selected for the next round for the inter school level at Vels University or something.

The second is my IIT coaching class! Boo! It is totally boring! Well, I have classes on Saturday and Sunday, and timings are
Sat: 6.30-8.30
Sun: 7.00-11.30
Just look at the sunday timings! I have to get up at 5.30 and then dress up, eat and leave at 6.30 in my van! And my sir, who is the director of the SMART institute itself is the worst IIT teacher ever seen. His faculty teach waaaaaaaaaaaay better than him! I like the Saturday classes as they are good without sir and I love my chemistry sir who takes on saturday, He is so awesome!!! Well, there is also another math teacher, who sometimes, look boring ( but definitely not as sir ), but now, the way she teaches integrals is so cool! I would hardly say 'no' to a Saturday class, but the Sunday thingy... I'm just so desperate.

Well for the next year, I'm planning to go to my old IIT class which I had left as people said SMART was better. Now I regret and so the rest of my IIT classmates. I have not many plans about my future nor I definitely say I want to go to IIT for my further studies. I just want to know more and love the life. I also want the life to love me :)

Well, something has happened to me about Harry Potter, I have read the last book thrice (just thrice ), and I love to read it many times. The movie was amazing but I would say the book was more rocking than the movie. I'm waiting for the second part to get released and I'm gonna squat in the cinema theatre with my friends as soon as the movie gets released.

There was TERROR in the time table.

She came and spoke for 45 minutes about electrovalent bonding. She leaned against the desk and twisted her hand and kept her one elbow on her twisted hand's palm. She was rotating her head (Sri told 'ammi kal madire suttraa')and was SCRUBBING her forehead with kerchief.

At the end, I asked her for answer sheets. For that she gave a puppy dog look where she kept all the fingers mutually (not muckuchalli) at 70 degrees and twisted her hand and stuck out her lower lips tilting her face 40 degrees to the left. It made me laugh.

She said 'I have no idea. I will give when I enter the marks' and she went off.

Thank God she didn't say 'what paa, what is this paa'.

Wah! I am in tenth now, and I have not posted anything from the beginning of the year. I was very busy with projects and exams. So, very sorry.

So, tenth is awesome. The classes are shuffled, but I love my new class just the way I loved my old one. I have awesome teachers compared to others... and I'm bored of talking about the school.

The tests were over just today and I have done tremendously worse in all subjects except math. And I'm not going to tell you my marks due to certain reasons, probably you must be knowing that, and today was science and I have not yet received the marks. Well, science was tough and I totally flunked! Waiting for the deadliest day, the results day...

By the way, it seems I have lost a bit audiences. I could see no comments nowadays. I don't like it this way. Remember, this is not just my diary for me to have everything for me. It's for you to read too. I know it's boring to read this blog. But even then, I just want to know that there are some people viewing this.

Vacation time. My coaching classes have been over now. It's enough - One month of consistent coaching with just a single day holiday every week!And now, since its over, I'm happy. Well, those people never left me enjoy... A TEST? Oh my god! On all the three subjects? For just three hours? I curse that all those people should be blown up by tsunami. Well, I have completed my class and my exam... Oh my god.... It was tough and I have studied nothing. I badly want West Mambalam center 'cause this place is where the director, K.K.Anand trains us. So, I'm praying that I get a seat in that branch. But, I have lost my hope. Because of my applaud-able performances in my class and my test, I have guaranteed myself that I will get Adyar branch. Lets see... I'm leaving it to God's hands for now... By the way, I'm not so cared about it right now, because I will not enjoy these holidays at least...

MNIK – OUT OF EPIGLOTTIS

'My name is Khan. Not Kan. It's Khan. Khan. From the epiglottis.' Capturing line. Well, SRK has been replaced by Aamir in my favorite actor list. Well, I am longing to see the movie once again.

Autism affected Rizvan Khan is the first child of his mother. His brother, being agitated to be with Rizvan, leaves America. Well, Rizvan might be mentally affected, but he is really intelligent. His mother gets expired due to some disease, from where he takes his oath to go to America.

He works in his brother's company. He sees Mandira and says he wants to get married with her. Mandira is a women living lonely with her son because her husband eloped with a girl to Australia. She gives Rizvan a challenge and marries him when he wins it. Life went smooth with Rizvan for her and her son.

It was this time when the 9/11 attacks occurred. Everyone in San Francisco blamed and tortured people belonging to Islamism. This is the time where a big upheaval took place in their life. Their son died. Mandira, suspects Rizvan Khan to be the main reason because their son turned to Islam from Hindu only after Mandira marries Rizvan. She thinks her son could be dead only because he was a Muslim boy. So she yells at Rizvan to leave her soon.

While the first half is smooth, the second half reveals the reason why Rizvan wants to meet the President of United States. Almost at the end, Mandira comes to know that her son was killed by the seniors who ragged him in the football court. She returns back to Rizvan where he gets assassinated before her eyes. Fortunately he recovered from the injury. But still he says he wants to meet the President.

Second half is very poignant where Karan carries you to their feelings. You must applaud for Shah Rukh and Kajol for their very, what you call a, natural acting. The cinematography is very brilliant and of course, music by ShankarEshanLoy carries you inside the movie. With songs like 'Tere Naina' and 'Tere Sajna', they have proved themselves.

Genre: Romance

Time: 2.30 hrs

Reason to watch: 1) SRK and Kajol's acting after a long time.

2) Argument between Shiv Sena and SRK

Storyline: Boy meets a girl, marries her and leaves her 'cause she thinks it is him who caused his son's death

+ Points: lovely story, awesome acting, good music, worth applauding direction, location.'

- Points: exaggeration in some places.

Man, you must read the series. I will ensure you that you will be tethered to the story till you finish it. And even after you are done with it, your mind ever will plead for another read.

I am excited today because I finished all the Harry Potter series. For reviews, see this:

1. Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone : J.K.Rowling explains who the boy is and how Harry engages himself in the job of discovering the philosopher's stone. He meets his nemesis-Voldemort for the first time and gets entwined with adventure from the very beginning.

2.Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets : Ginny, Ron's sister, gets a diary that belonged to Tom Riddle and puts herself into it. Later on , she realizes that it is safe no more having the diary with her and disposes it off. Harry gets it and gains an introductory knowledge of Tom. When he finds his friends shocked and stunned on seeing something, he guesses, whether it could be by seeing something that was hidden in Chamber of Secrets. Of course, Harry would never rest until he finds information on it and goes off for the adventure. Finally, the story bangs to an end that Harry was a brave and chivalrous(somewhat) boy.

3.Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban : Harry who is an orphan, finds out the reason behinds his parents death. We all know, it is Lord Voldemort who murdered them, but here reveals the truth on who betrayed them. The primary suspect is Sirius, but the final one is different. As a matter of fact, Harry gets to know that Sirius was after all his God father. Mixed with dilemma, Rowling keeps you to tied up to the story with lot of feelings till the last page.

4.Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire : Though it was forbidden for any underage wizard to enter the Tri-wizard Tournament, Harry's name comes out of the Goblet of Fire indicating him to participate in the game. Harry faces great adventure here and lives up till the final game. The truth on who put Harry's name in the Goblet, as always, gets revealed in the end. Reading the book takes you to another adventurous world. The only good advantage is that you don't have to face it.You just have to see it how Harry is facing it.

5.Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix : Continuous searches of Harry Potter by Voldemort and his men(Death Eaters), made people realise that Harry must be taken to the Order of Phoenix(an organization than deals with keeping Voldemort away). However, he goes back to school and faces tremendous challenges at the end. However, I wasn't pleased with the first half, but that doesn't mean it is boring at all. The ending was superb.

6.Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince : I have no additional point to put forth. So please refer to the review posted previously. The past of Voldemort and all the information on Horcruxes(Voldemort's lives) forms the story. Past is certainly a good one to read.

7.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows : At seventeen, Harry loses the protection on him. He faces the desire to meet and assassinate Voldemort. He gets a lot of messages about Voldemort who can control Harry's dreams. Ron and Hermoine stay with Harry in a forest and help him to succeed in his plan. While there is one side, crying for safety and another for killing Voldemort, Harry faces a complexion and confusion. Finally, he strongly believes in destroying the Horcruxes that would enable Harry to kill his enemy off easily. But the problem is that Harry faces a problem of killing himself because he is a Horcrux. So he dies, but Harry kills Voldemort after that. Confusing? Well you need to read the book. The twist at the end which reveals the true side of Snape, is awesome. God! Never believed that J.K.Rowling can carry you to the next step without shading off the adventure.

My Rating:

Well, though I loved every book of Harry Potter, I loved some books more than others. My rating is completely biased. So kindly don't take that in mind.

'My God! Pranav is taking so much time for him to come here. Damn him.' says Ranjay who is standing next to me at the bus stop.

'Why, are you busy with something? I spoke. 'Can't you wait for some time?'

'Remember, this is what you said a half an hour ago - "some time". So, some time means an hour or so?'

27G came by the way, Finally, Ranjan relished. From the bus jumped a short, shabby haired, blunt nosed fellow.

'Hey Sanjay! Hope you are fine.' cried Pranav's voice. 'I'm so sorry for that time delay. Gotta climb two buses you know!'

Knowing Ranjan was about to counter that, I questioned, 'Fine, where can we go?'

'Oh well. By the way,' he was opening his bag pack and pulled out a small box covered with wrappers and a card stuck on it, 'Happy Birthday dude!' he said.

'Oh well, thanks mate. Where shall we go?'

'What about McPlottis?' Ranjan encountered. 'I just went a week before and it was so good. Reasonably priced as well.'

'What do you think Pranav, I asked, brimming with enjoyment and happiness.

Pranav understood us. Just a small nod was enough to make him and his friends happy! - However, it was my treat.

'Paneer Frankie, Chicken tikka and Tom-yam soup would do for me.'. Ranjan was the first one to pick the menu card.We all agreed to the same. We ordered them to the waiter. The notice board opposite us clearly noted that we all had to wait for twenty minutes.

Meanwhile Pranav picked up something from his bag. And that turned out to be a rotten bread enveloped with cling film.

'Look at this. I am going to the lab tonight and and examine this.' whispered the bio-tech master who sat with us for lunch. Yes, it is Pranav. It seems awful when someone takes rotten breads for observing in labs.

'Labs aren't opened on Sundays.' said Ranjan.

'Well, I think I have to do it tomorrow then.' disappointingly spoke, Pranav.

I smiled at him. The waiter served us the dishes and we kept ourselves busy and occupied with munching and tasting them. As a matter of fact, Ranjan seemed correct. The prices were less. Thank God, I can save some money, then.

After we washed our hands, the waiter kept the bill book on the table. Not bad. It had cost Rs 275 for all of us. So, I opened my purse and ...

'What the hell! I just have ten rupees! I cried quietly. No one else heard me except my friends. They had no money either.

'Bloody shit! Gonna get screwed up.' Ranjan swore burning with tension. Pranav spoke nothing but hung his head down. I didn't understand what was that feeling supposed to be.

If you had seen cartoons, you would have discovered bulbs glowing on top of of the heads when they get some ideas.

Same thing happened here. I saw Pranav's rotten bread and Ranjan's soup bowl with soup filled half the cup as he couldn't drink anymore.

I called the manager and showed him the soup. On sniffing it, he was half dizzy. The mixture of the soup and the rotten bread worked well.

'Sorry sir, It it our mistake. Please don't call out loud and drive away our customers. Maybe we can offer you a free meal today...'

A Time To Enjoy!

Finally! My exams were over! Good bye, ninth standard and welcome tenth. Have no idea how tenth is going to be. Who cares? Getting only a week's time for hols and I think about tenth so soon to disturb my mind during holidays? Grr. Longing to go to Rajapalayam, my native place, but I am tied up with my busy schedule. Going to be suffering from IITcochingclassophobia from May! Can't a person rest in peace? Hmm... Let's see... Wat can I do these days?

Eeram - A Review

Ah! My blog has been flooded by lots of reviews! But this one is going to be the best one, I think.

Just now, finished seeing the film. The film is a suspense thriller then kills you till the end of the movie. Mixed with romance, this film is surely a melodrama.

The story begins with the death of Ramya, Vasu's lover who is now married to Bala. Vasu, being a police inspector, investigates the crime. After Ramya's death, many residents of the flat get murdered. People have no idea on the reason behind it. At the end of the first half of the story, Vasu suspects a person, and it becomes that person who is the culprit. Audiences might think there would be nothing in the second half as they culprit is found so early, but you are wrong. The whole of the story which includes Ramya's death and the death of others is portrayed only in the second half.

About the technical matters, direction by Arivazhagan is awesome. Everything looks real and scary. I think that is more than enough. In addition to that, the cast is superb! Even though the people are not so famous, they did a fantastic job. The cast was completely appropriate. The BGM was splendid! Very apt for a suspense thr(k)iller. Have any guesses why this film has been named 'Eeram'? Well its because the killer uses water as a medium to kill others.

3 Idiots - A Review

Just a couple of weeks before, I saw this film. Wah! How can I describe this movie? This movie was simply superb.

Its about how three people get into a college with different family backgrounds and become close friends. Farhan is from a middle class family who wants to become a wildlife photographer(but unfortunately, he is forced to study engineering by his parents) while Raju's family is very poor and his character resembles Alok's(if you have read Five Point Someone). Rancho is a from a very rich family and is friendlier towards the other two. He believes that learning is something where you experience a lot and enjoy, not something done for becoming whatever the father says. Rancho falls in love with Pia, his prof's daughter. Exciting situations and unhappy moments circle them all the time. Wish I would like to go to a good college and enjoy my life. For further details about the movie, just watch it. Keep chanting the only mantra: Aal Iz Well(not all, it's aal).

2 States - A Review

This is my second book I have read after Five Point Someone by Chetan Bhagat. This book, to my opinion, better than Five Point Someone. This story is said to be the story of Chetan Bhagat himself.

This story is about how two people from different states of India come together, get approved by their parents and get married. In his book, you can say that love marriage in India is never a simple job. It's like maintaining a mini zoo at home. Ananya falls in the net of love with Krish. Krish is a Punjabi while Ananya comes from Tamil Nadu. As they meet in Ahmadabad IIMA, they fall in love with each other. They find different jobs and Krish goes to Chennai to satisfy and conquer her parents' hearts. And once they are convinced, Ananya understands that Krish's parents need to agree. So she goes to Punjab and makes them agree and then finally, the couple gets married.

But the question is how these guys convince their parents and make them agree for marriage. HP6 - A Review

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince is just as good as the previous ones. I expected a lot from J.K.Rowling's sixth book ... but ... it was much above my expectations. The way she describes the story with adventure, courageousness, bravery, friendship and a tinge of romance. On the whole it is all adventure, adventure and more adventure. It is this part, where Harry, the central character of the story , gets to know about the Horcruxes ( lives of Voldemort, the one who killed Harry's parents). At the end they guess some Horcruxes, but we aren't sure whether they are the actual Horcruxes. I am not going to tell the story of the book. Figure it out if you want to know. I would like if someone who had watched the movie tell me how is it. But if you want to read this book, obviously, start reading it from the first book.

Sports Day

Today(8/1/2010), its my sports day. Held in Nandanam YMCA, this was inaugurated at 9 'o' clock in the morning though it had to be started at 8.30 am. Since the place was very close, I walked. At 9.00, we all had to assemble in the grounds. I stood where the blue house should stand because I belong to blue house. My God, unfortunately it started to rain. It didn't actually rain, it just drizzled. I kept my spectacles in my pocket to avoid cleaning my specks every time from the drops of the rain. Our EG (Electronic Gadgets ) sir who was a PT sir in some other school was the judge and the compere as well. We started to march on that marshy land(it was so marshy that everyone were sure that someone would skid off and get admitted in the hospital). After marching, we assembled at a place in the ground, to be more specific, in front of our teachers, in attention. Our EG sir was the comedian at the place. He was calling us 'majestic', 'splendid' and so on. This really made us laugh because we were hardly marching, but walking. When we were to jog and get dispersed, all of us went in different ways instead of jogging to one place. As you know, I am a person with no patience. Feeling bored, I came home after some 15 minutes in the YMCA. And now, it has stopped raining. The order of events are being held now. I pray God that no one should skid off.

A Day In IIT...

I joined NTSE class last year. I even wrote the test. But I don't know the results. In the class, tests used to be conducted frequently. By fluke, I got the first prize in physics. The prize distribution ceremony was held in IIT campus on 25th December 2008. All were assembled at some place; you can call it as the physics lecture place. A professor performed excellent experiments and gave proper explanations. They were fantastic. Moreover he said, "Make mistakes. Unfortunately, these are something that every one around you don't like. Making mistakes ensure that you don't make the same mistakes once again. But at the same time, allow others to make mistakes and don't ever repeat the mistakes." I loved the ceremony. He informed us that many find it difficult to find a seat in IIT and we were fortunate that we got a seat in the lecture place. An unforgettable experience. Hope I go back to IIT some day. Till then keep dreaming.

Will the world die?

The biggest issue today is the fact that the world ends in 2012. But how come a person be vehement about his opinion and tries to make the others believe him? Atrocious, I think. But I am not going to talk about that. Its all about our evnironment.

Times of India published many articles on the facts about how the environment has been destroyed. I liked one of them, that wrote, that, we need five earths to survive. The total amount of harmful gases that has been released in the atmosphere rose to such an extent that people may find no more lives on the earth. A survey was made to find out the percentage increse in the number of vehicles in India. It was noted that 1000% was the percentage increase in the number of cars only.Hopefully, I didn't see the percentage increase of the other vehicles, otherwise I surely would have had an heart-attack(Not Exaggerating). So go green by using cycles. I am happy that my friends either go home by cycle(or walking sometimes) or go in vans. Fortunately, only a few of them go by their own cars.

The only way to control them is to plant trees. "Plant trees! My god, there is no space for me anywhere to plant trees" would be the probable reaction once you read this. In fact, I do consider planting trees is tough. But if you have the choice and don't plant them, go and find the hardest and the strongest object for you to bang your head.

Prevention is better that cure. If you ask me, I would consider the best choice would be to stop pollution. I don't have to elaborate as everyone would probably know what I am going to tell. But I would like to sum up telling that try to avoid motor vehicles and dumping trash on roadsides.

If you are lazy(read this, if you are of this sort), better you join in an organization. Instead of chatting, surfing and wasting time, you can search for something in the web, which helps to spread awareness and be a member of it. Watch Nat Geo, Animal Planet,etc and join in any organization. Be the change you want to see.

At miniclip.com, you will fing loads and loads of games. My favorite is Fancy Pants 2. It is a good game for everyone. Its about a stick-man who has lost his trophy(ice cream). He didn't lose it, in fact, a giant rabbit stole it. Run through the adventure to find that rabbit and get back your trophy.

I didn't know from where I came;
I was inside a cave.
No animals, no fear, no algae, no dirt;
Only peace.
Not a single speck of noise.
I was unable to open my eyes;
But, I saw everything in my eyes.
I couldn't fit into the cave, it was so small;
The time came for me to come out.
I stamped the cave, heard a cry;
A cry of love.
I didn't know what happened;
I was in the hospital!
But even then, I couldn't open my eyes.
But I knew,
I came out for something great to achieve.

If you had seen Phineas And Ferb in Disney Channel, you would have surely noted the hooked nosed Dr. Dofenshmirtz. In fact, it is his picture that I have uploaded in my Orkut and Facebook profile. I love his nose, just simply because mine's like his. I am a fan of his voice ( if you have heard his voice and read this, don't laugh ). He works for 'Evil' (if you don't know to pronounce it, pronounce "EEEEEEEEEEEVIL"). Perry the platypus is agent 'P' and tries to stop Doofenshmirtz from doing all silly things. But Perry is boring, if you ask me. If Doofenshmirtz had not been there in this show, I am sure that this show would surely be a huge flop. However, don't ever watch in Disney XD, as Doof's voice is ---ahem.

Ok ok, I know that you are asking yourself why are you reading this. But I promise, that even if you aren't a fan of cartoons, you will love him and this show(only if you see it). You will never refrain from watching him.
